The fabrics used in the creation of each skirt are purchased from La Panda Love Fabrics and Spoonflower, a textile company that connects visual artists to creator like Sophie!
The Skirts are made of 100% Recycled Polyester rPET .
We know what you are thinking, Polyester = petroleum?
Chiffon, the traditional fabric used in a ballerina's skirt is typically made of Polyester, Sophie and ACC decided to go with this particular fabric because it is a more sustainable option for the traditional look. rPET reduces the need for primary extraction and uses 30-50% less energy to produce. -

I should have followed my gut and not ordered something I could not try on and not return if it was not fitting correctly. This pricey leotard, while having a very pretty pattern is just very basic style and even though I gave my measurements to the owner, the inseam/length was too short. I normally wear a medium and the reviews and the owner suggested a small , since they typically run bigger, but now I’m stuck with an inexpensive leotard that does not fit.

Love this Leo! I did size down to size M which fit well. I normally wear size large or Xl in ballet Leos due to my long torso. I look forward to ordering more from this seller!
