The Materials:
The fabrics used in the creation of each skirt are purchased from La Panda Love Fabrics and Spoonflower, a textile company that connects visual artists to creator like Sophie!
The Skirts are made of 100% Recycled Polyester rPET .
We know what you are thinking, Polyester = petroleum?
Chiffon, the traditional fabric used in a ballerina's skirt is typically made of Polyester, Sophie and ACC decided to go with this particular fabric because it is a more sustainable option for the traditional look. rPET reduces the need for primary extraction and uses 30-50% less energy to produce. -

I really liked this leotard! The material is thicker than I anticipated, think like a thin wetsuit and is printed on. I also have a little more of a waist and this pattern does not fit that part of my body super well i.e. gaps under the bust and slightly on the back. I'm overlooking it though because of how beautiful the print is and how I think it will stay on throughout my dancing! As for the shipping, the Etsy tracking gave me one date fir arrival, and after it was several days late, still did not update so I was blind on my end and had to reach out to the seller. Sophie was amazing at getting back to me and had a little more insight on the tracking info. After it was later than her updated arrival date, she reached out for me and it came in that day funny enough. I ordered early enough so it was not a huge problem in the end
